Over the next three years, Tenebrae conquered the entire planet of Medriaas, enslaving and killing any subordinates of his father. In 5100 BBY, he traveled to the planet Ziost, where he met the Dark Lord of the Sith, Markos Ragnos. Ragnos allowed him to rule Medriaas, and Tenebrae began constructing a palace on the planet Nathema, changing the name to Medriaas Tenebrae.

After the death of Ragnos in 5000 BBY, Tenebrae did not claim the title of Emperor because the Sith lords Naga Shadow and Ludo Kressh were fighting over who would become the new emperor. However, the combined efforts of The Outlander and Arcaan eventually defeated him, putting an end to his reign of terror.
