Abhay: ZEE5 Original Series 2019 Review: A Gripping Crime Drama
What is your review of Abhay ZEE5 Original Series 2019?
The story of the show revolves around the dynamism of SP Abhay Pratap Singh, who solves various cases alongside his team, including Inspector Komal and other officials. This series is not just a crime drama but more of a thriller, reminiscent of Savdhan India or the crime series Sacred Game.
The show features a son, Saahil, whom Abhay is overprotective about, due to his past involving officer Natasha and her informer Govind. The acting is top-notch, and the direction is excellent. However, the series is not for the faint of heart, as some scenes can be disturbing.
Season 3: On Its Way
Season 3 of the series is in the making, and given the quality of the previous seasons, fans can expect more of the same gripping content. Ram Kapoor has done an average job, but Kunal Khasyum's performance steals the show. The series is available on ZEE5, and the ratings are based on both seasons together.
Crime-Wise Da'Shot
Crime crime hota hai. Uska size napna hamara kaam nahi hai. Result lakar dena hai.
Game toh Game hota hai khelne aana Chaiye.
Do chizoon ko kabhi underestimate nahi karna chaiye. Crime aur Bimari. Agar aap bach gaye toh samj lo aap Lucky ho.
Agar har koi apna Agenda dekhega toh imandari ke liye jagah kaha bachegi.
Kabhi Kabhi bohot ache ke liye thoda bura digest kr lena chaiye.
True Crimes and Gripping Stories
The series is based on true crimes, and the gory details will affect you if you haven't watched shows like The End of the F***ing World. However, the plot is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. All the characters provide excellent acting, making it a watch worth considering.
Neutral Mind Beats Hate
First, it's important to clarify that I am not a supporter of Swara Bhaskar's political series. They do not deserve the excessive hate. If you watch this series with a neutral and philosophical mind, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Even go with the term used to describe the series: the depiction of men, sexuality, and women, as well as the depiction of teachers, are worth considering.
Half of the negative reviews I've seen are given by people who haven't even watched the series and started giving bad reviews based on what they've heard or seen. At least respect the other actors in the series, and acknowledge that the teenage performances were fabulous.
While I don't like Swara Bhaskar's acting much, all other characters are fantastic. Just give it a try with an open mind and a neutral perspective.
